This Walk is Kentuckiana's largest annual HIV/AIDS awareness and fundraising event. Each year, thousands of Louisville and Southern Indiana residents come together in remembrance, celebration and hope. We walk to renew our commitment to the fight for a cure and support of those affected by HIV/AIDS in our community—all funds directly support the individuals served by the Kentuckiana AIDS Alliance!

What Should I Expect the Day of the Walk?

The 2016 Walk includes entertainment, special guests, food and beverages, plus a PetZone and KidZone. Bring your family and loved ones!

Is There a Cost to Participate?

There is no cost to participate in the Louisville AIDS Walk and Pet Walk. We just ask you to seek pledges from family, friends and co-workers to help in the local fight against HIV/AIDS.

How Can Pledges Be Made? Are They Tax Deductible?

The AIDS Services Center Coalition, Inc. (reorganizing as Kentuckiana AIDS Alliance and doing business as Louisville AIDS Walk) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 

Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donations are accepted on a calendar year basis, so any contribution received from January 1st until December 31st will count towards that year's Walk. 
We are proud to be a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity having met all 20 of their Wise Standards for Charitable Giving.

Where Do My Pledge Funds Go?

Your pledges support client services such as care coordination, housing, medical/dental care, co-pay assistance, children’s programs, educational workshops, counseling, legal assistance and public transportation to and from medical appointments. They also support monthly HIV testing, social retreats and a summer camp for children who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

With medical advancements, people with HIV/AIDS are living longer which translates to an increased need for these services. Your donation helps people who are served by multiple organizations!
